UBE Group Hosts “Open House for National Youth Day 2025” Promoting Learning Among Communities Around the Factory

On September 10, 2025, Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited and its affiliates (“UBE Group”) organized the event “UBE CARE: Open House for National Youth Day 2025” at its Ubon Ratchathani factory. The event was officially opened and warmly welcomed by Ms. Karnnaporn Karnnasuta, Executive Vice President for Corporate Sustainability and Government Affairs.
The event was held in support of National Youth Day, under the theme of Science, emphasizing the importance of equipping the next generation with scientific skills essential for future national development. The initiative was conducted in collaboration with communities surrounding the factory to foster active youth participation and engagement.
More than 120 students from Grade 4 to Grade 6, representing four local schools, had the opportunity to explore, experiment, and develop scientific thinking through fun and educational activities across four learning stations:
- “Microbe Mania, Soil Booster” – Understanding the role of microorganisms in soil ecosystems
- “Fermentation Fun, Power On” – Hands-on fermentation experiments and real-world applicationss
- Little Scientists and Cassava Adventures (Cassava to Kitchen)” – Exploring the transformation of cassava into food products
- “Waste Management Technology” – Learning sustainable approaches to waste and environmental management
This event not only aimed to inspire and educate children and youth, but also reflected UBE Group’s commitment to responsible business practices under the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) framework. It also reaffirmed the company’s dedication to fostering sustainable development in tandem with the community.
As part of its long-term goals, UBE Group is also working towards aligning with the FTSE Russell sustainability standards by next year.
