UBE Open House – Welcoming the Energy Ministry Inspector General Factory Visit on Energy Management and Conservation

14 January 2026 – Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited and its affiliated companies (“UBE Group”), led by Mr. Wuttipong Nilpai, Executive Vice President – Ethanol Business, welcomed Mrs. Patteera Saiprathumthip, Inspector General of the Ministry of Energy, together with provincial energy officials from Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket, Yasothon, and Amnat Charoen, as well as personnel from the Ministry of Energy, on the occasion of an on-site visit to observe and receive information on UBE Group’s energy management practices.

During the visit, the Inspector General and delegation attended a presentation on an overview of UBE Group’s business operations, followed by a tour of the ethanol production process, waste management systems, and the utilization of renewable energy generated from the production process, such as Biogas and Floating solar power. These renewable energy initiatives play a key role in reducing reliance on fossil fuels and enhancing the organization’s overall energy efficiency.

The visit also provided an opportunity for discussions and exchanges on development approaches and preparedness for energy certification and auditing, aimed at elevating the factory’s standards in alignment with relevant laws and industrial regulations.

From this inspection, the delegation recognized UBE Group’s strong capability in systematic and efficient energy management that complies with industry standards. This reflects the Group’s commitment to conducting business based on the principles of energy conservation, environmental stewardship, and sustainable development, contributing to long-term national energy security amid ongoing global energy challenges and a rapidly changing world context.
