Welcoming the Federation of Thai Industries for Knowledge Exchange and Stronger Industry Collaboration
On September 5, 2026, Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited (UBE), led by Ms. Sureeyot Khowsurat, Chief Executive Officer and President, together with Mr. Wuttipong Nilphai, Executive for Project and By-product Management, and Ms. Karnnaporn Karnnasuta, Assistant Executive Vice President of Corporate Sustainability, Corporate Communications and Government Affairs, welcomed a delegation of executives and members of the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI), led by Ms. Pimjai Leeissaranukul. The delegation included executives of FTI’s Northeastern Region, chairpersons of provincial cluster and provincial industry councils, committee members, and members. The study visit, under the theme “ESG: Bio Industry,” took place at UBE’s Ethanol Office in Ubon Ratchathani Province, focusing on the bio-based industry and sustainable management.
The delegation received an overview of UBE’s businesses and its integrated approach to developing the bio-based industry across the value chain, from agricultural raw material sourcing and processing into bioenergy and value-added products to by-product utilization and environmental management. These practices demonstrated how agricultural resources can be used efficiently while creating business opportunities.
UBE executives and the delegation also exchanged perspectives and experience on integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into business management. Discussions covered adding value to local resources, stakeholder engagement, and business operations that consider their impacts on communities and the environment, offering practical insights to strengthen the capabilities of entrepreneurs and the industrial sector in the region.
The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen industry networks and share practical business experience, while laying the groundwork for further collaboration in the bio-based industry and green economy. These exchanges support the competitiveness of Thai industry and encourage growth that creates shared economic, social, and environmental value.
