UBE joins hands with Thai Oil to deliver the "BIO Farm Organic Agriculture Center, a prototype for organic farming" to Ubon Ratchathani Community Development Center.

Recently, Ms. Karnnaporn Karnnasuta, Executive Vice President of Corporate Sustainability and Government Affairs of Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited or UBE, and Mr. Wirot Meenaphan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Corporate Affairs and Relations of Thai Oil Public Company Limited, participated in the handing over of the "BIO Farm Organic Farming Center, a model for organic farming" to the Ubon Ratchathani Community Education and Development Center with Ms. Tubtim Tangkham, a Community Development Specialist, Senior Professional Level, who was appointed as a representative by Ms. Anchana Meechai, Director of the Ubon Ratchathani Community Education and Development Center The event also included a demonstration of simple compost making by sharing knowledge on growing vegetables in open greenhouses and expanding marketing channels from the Kin Sabai Jai network with farmers from different districts in Ubon Ratchathani province, more than 50 people participated in the activity.

BIO Farm Organic Farming Center, a prototype for organic farming in the area of Tha Chang Sub-district, Sawang Wirawong District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. There are 2 open greenhouses which will be a learning center that will be beneficial to the community and society, helping to improve production and cultivation processes, along with developing the infrastructure system towards a new way of producing agricultural products, including an opportunity to promote the use of organic bio-fertilizers, especially BioHub, a soil improvement material, a product of Ubon Bio Agriculture Co., Ltd. (UBA), a subsidiary company, together with other composts in the cultivation of organic vegetables according to market demand, such as salad vegetables, cabbage, morning glory, etc. In addition, UBE will also join in promoting the bringing of some organic vegetable products from the center, and farmers participating in the project comes to sell to the company's employees every Friday under the "UBE Care, Eat with Peace of Mind" project to join in generating continuous income for farmers as well.
