Friday, October 17, 2025 - Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited (UBE) and its affiliates, collectively known as “UBE Group,” led by Ms. Sureeyot Khowsurat, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, presided over the Kathin robe offering ceremony at Wat Pa Non Suksan (Th), a Di Sub-district, Na Yia District, Ubon Ratchathani Province. The event was organized under the project “UBE CARE United for Kathin in the Land of Scholars, 21st” to uphold Buddhism and preserve Thailand’s cherished cultural traditions. The ceremony included almsgiving and offering meals to 10 monks, a Kathin procession around the sermon hall, and the formal presentation of the Kathin robe.

The activity saw participation from UBE Group executives and employees, along with more than 150 community members, who jointly sponsored donations for the maintenance of Buddhism totaling 239,029 baht.

The Kathin ceremony is part of UBE Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives under the “UBE CARE Center” framework, aiming to foster collaboration between the organization and local communities, promote unity, and ensure the continuation of Thailand’s Buddhist traditions for generations to come.
