UBE Conducts Its 2025 Firefighting and Emergency Evacuation Drill Across Daytime and Nighttime Sessions to Strengthen Emergency Preparedness

On 7 November 2025, Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited (“UBE”), Ubon Bio Agriculture Company Limited (“UBA”), and Ubon Saeng Arthit Company Limited (“USA”) conducted their annual 2025 firefighting and emergency evacuation drill, held both during the daytime and nighttime. The activity aimed to enhance employees’ knowledge, understanding, and readiness to respond to fire-related emergencies.
This annual drill complies with the Ministry of Labour’s Regulation on Standards for the Management and Operation of Safety, Occupational Health, and Working Environment in Fire Prevention and Suppression B.E. 2555, which requires organizations to conduct at least one fire drill and evacuation practice per year to ensure safety in the workplace.
For the 2025 drill, scenarios were simulated during the day at the boiler production building and at night at the cassava-chip warehouse, ensuring comprehensive and realistic training across different work conditions. The drill was conducted with the support and cooperation of several governmental disaster prevention and emergency response units, including the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Regional Office 13 Ubon Ratchathani, Warin Chamrap Municipality, Na Di Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Tha Chang Subdistrict Municipality, and Na Yia Hospital.
Certified emergency response units also participated in providing guidance and leading the practice to ensure employees are well-prepared to respond quickly, systematically, and effectively, minimizing potential loss of life and property in case of fire or other emergencies in the workplace.
In addition to the firefighting and evacuation drills, employees also received training on various emergency response procedures to ensure they can manage different situations efficiently. This initiative reflects the continued commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, occupational health, and employee well-being.
