On 6 March 2026, Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited (UBE) and its affiliated companies, collectively known as “UBE GROUP,” led by Mr. Wuttipong Nilpai, Senior Executive Vice President – Ethanol Business, welcomed 120 executives and personnel from the Machinery Division of Regional Irrigation Offices 1–17 nationwide during a study visit held as part of the Mechanical Engineering Line Meeting No. 1/2026, organized by Regional Irrigation Office 7.

The visit focused on Zero Waste management, resource efficiency in production, and sustainable water management. Participants were introduced to UBE GROUP’s operations and visited the Activated Sludge (AS) wastewater treatment system, which treats wastewater to meet standards, enables water reuse in production, and generates biogas as renewable energy within the facility, reflecting Circular Economy principles.

The program also highlighted collaboration with local communities in promoting sustainable water use and water resource conservation. The visit reflects UBE GROUP’s commitment to conducting business under the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework to support sustainable growth in Thailand’s bio-based industry.
