On Thursday, May 14, 2026, Ubon Bio Ethanol Public Company Limited or “UBE,” represented by Mr. Dechana Nathee, Human Resources Manager, was invited to participate as a guest speaker at an insurance knowledge forum under the theme “Peace of Mind for Workers with Insurance Protection.” The event was organized by the Office of Insurance Commission as part of its initiative to promote the use of insurance systems in workplace risk management. The forum was held at Sunee Grand Hotel in Mueang District, Ubon Ratchathani Province.

More than 100 representatives from local businesses and the labor sector across Ubon Ratchathani Province attended the event.

During the session, Mr. Dechana Nathee, representing the labor sector, emphasized the importance of insurance as a key pillar of financial security for workers, who play a vital role in driving the economy while facing ongoing risks related to health, accidents, and income. Amid rising healthcare costs, health, accident, and life insurance have become essential tools for mitigating risks and strengthening financial stability for workers at all levels.

He also shared perspectives on the expectations that both employers and employees have toward the insurance industry, including easier access to appropriate coverage, protection that aligns with working life, financial risk planning education, and fair and timely support when incidents occur.
